Horseshoe Bend - Page, AZ
I was born in the Portland (OR) area and am an Oregonian through and through. Growing up I spent my summers on a cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon, and cultivated a love for the outdoors. I enjoy anything that takes me outside, not limited to hiking, canoeing, fishing, camping, and generally going out and exploring nature. Outside of the Pacific Northwest, I find the American Southwest to be one of the most naturally beautiful places in our nation.
I have often wondered why I have such a love for the game of baseball, it is sometimes long and the action sometimes is slow, but it continually comes back to me that so many aspects of the game are a direct representation of the way life is.  Life lessons are displayed daily on the baseball diamond, and we simply have to be paying attention to soak in the knowledge.

Archie (2017)
I am a proud companion and dog father to Archie, an ex-racing greyhound. My wife and I rescued him from a racing track in the winter of 2017. Although he had a short racing career, he did win a number of races. He is now in retirement and enjoys spending his days sleeping on the couch and being the most adorable boy ever.
Prior to moving to Tennessee, I lived in the great state of Texas, where I met and married my wife Lucy.  If you want to surf, move to Hawaii. If you like to shop, move to New York. If you like acting and Hollywood, move to California. But if you like college football, move to Texas.
